Inclusion

We are hugely inclusive at Pamphill Pre-School. We welcome EVERYONE into our nursery. We take pride in being able to offer quality care for children whom have Special Educational or medical needs. We have strong links with the Child Development Centre at Poole Hospital and other agencies such as Portage, Speech and Language Therapists, and the Hearing and Vision Support team. Staff have experience in working with children with Autism, Visual Impairments, Speech and language disorders/delays, Cerebral Palsy and gastronomy feeds, and we actively welcome children with additional needs into our mainstream setting.

Our priority is that your child receives the care, equipment or medical support in order to make their time at our setting happy, safe and memorable. Staff are more than happy to actively undergo specific training in order to meet your individual needs and will do everything possible to ensure your child can access the high quality care they deserve.

We have nappy changing facilities and therefore your child does not have to be ‘dry’.

We regularly celebrate festivals through theme days and we have a wide range of resources that promote the diversity of our local community. We regularly invite visitors into our setting, so children can gain a greater understanding of people, faiths and beliefs around us.

We actively encourage all parents/carers to share any festivals or celebrations celebrated in the home, so we can incorporate this into our setting.
